The Rappstraße – Your room central in Hamburg

The Basement Rotherbaum is centrally located and yet very quiet in a neighborhood characterized by art nouveau houses. In the immediate vicinity there are many shopping opportunities, not only for daily needs. With bus lines 4 and 5, you can reach Hamburg’s city center within ten minutes, and the world-famous harbor is also not far away. A walk through the neighborhood is also always worthwhile, as the Grindelviertel is located in the traditional district of Rotherbaum and there is much to discover here. The neighborhood was the center of Jewish life in Hamburg, which is still evidenced by the nearby Talmud Torah School.

In the basement you can relax in the evening or explore the area. You can reach the university in a few minutes on foot, and the train station at Dammtor or the Alster are also not far away.
